La Montañeta is a large country house built in the traditional style of inland Canarian houses, which has been divided into three independent accommodation units. It has been painstakingly restored to guarantee the comfort of our guests and at the same time preserve the traditional architecture.
The property is located at the entrance to the village of Santa Lucía. This century old building has had many uses throughout its long life, from a curing barn for locally grown tobacco to Justice of the Peace Court (Juzgado de Paz) and farm.
The restoration works have maintained the original structure of the house, which is divided into three large structural units. The solid whitewashed walls made of red rock and the pinewood roofing with Canarian tiles give the building a charmingly rustic feel. The large doors and windows let in plenty of light to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Despite being part of the same main building, the three accommodation units are totally independent. The entrance to the three houses is through a porch off the garden, a shared area of two thousand square metres.
This house has a spacious and comfortable bedroom, located on the timber mezzanine floor.
